Shipbuilding is a dynamic and international industry which comprises a large number of specialised companies and skills including shipyards and suppliers to yards and the off-shore sector. The Danish industry is technologically advanced and fast developing and at the same time structural changes continue in the form of outsourcing of activities from the yards to suppliers. The change in name and scope of our association is a reflection of our ambition to remain an important instrument supporting the further development of the Danish maritime industries. In this relation promotion of international collaboration remain a key issue.
Danish Maritime has its secretariat in Copenhagen and Brussels.
